The War of the worlds project

Alright, I started a new project a couple of weeks ago, Im trying to recreate a scene from the movie War of the worlds. Ill try to import everything into Cryengine2 later, maybe Ill create some multiplayermap. Never did that before so lets see how itll come out. :p

Im Schaefft, Im 19 years old and I model cars and other stuff for Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and GTA IV in my freetime.

Im currently working on some Crysis environment piece for my portfolio, however Im taking a break at the moment due the lack of motivation :p Thats why I started another car for GTA, the 1996 Buick Roadmaster Sedan, pics will follow soon.

Which renders do you mean? If you mean the last pics of my Roadmaster (which are terrible imo lol), those are viewport shots, I used real time viewport shaders there. And as far as I know, max doesnt have any AA for the viewport. Most of the WOTW screens are realtime, too.

If you talk about the renders. I dunno lol. Couldnt find any AA option and didnt really searched for one with google. Tell me where I can enable it and I will :D Im using Vray now.

yeah i ment last pics.In vray there is image sampler option where you can tweak AA.

Thanks. Those last pics are made with a viewport realtime shader, so theres unfortunatly no AA option. Wish there was :/

You really do gorgeous work. I've been following a few of your projects on GTA-forums.com for a while now, and I really like what I see. Is there any chance I would be able to get a hold of that beautiful Cadillac Escalade EXT for GTA IV?

Thanks man, Im glad you like my stuff :D Yeah, already thought about continuing the EXT, it would fit into GTA IV (replacing the Cavalcade FXT :D) and it would be a shame to waste the model + its one of my favorite 4x4. The chances are good, theres just quite alot of other stuff I have to finish first. :)

Oh thank you, great to hear from someone that im inspirational :D Well, I still have to learn lots of stuff as well, never modeled a character and I dont like my renders, so Im far away from being perfect. :D Good luck, register on some good forum and it should be pretty easy to get into the whole thing. :)

Well, you can get most cars on gtainside.com. I havent convert my cars yet, Im still busy with my Roadmaster :)
